Phishing Emails - Please Do Not Open Attachments That You Are Not Expecting
Last week, we learned that emails were being sent purportedly from an employee of a PSLS vendor to PSLS staff similar to the below image, which included a link to access an electronic file. We have confirmed that this is a phishing email and was not sent by our vendor. If you received this email, please do not open the attachment. Instead, select the three dots next to the reply tab at the top of the email, and select "Report phishing"; doing this should report the problem and delete the email from your inbox.
Phishing emails are on the rise and as we know from our training, can be very dangerous to PSLS and our data. If you receive an email with an attachment that you are not expecting, please do not open the attachment. Instead, contact the sender by phone to confirm that the email and attachment are legitimate.
If you have any questions, please contact PSLS' IT Help Desk at support@pslegal.org.
