June 29, 2021

Prairie State Legal Services (PSLS) has received a $2,500 grant from the Galesburg Community Foundation through their annual grant cycle, The Turnout. The funds will be used to support the general operations of our Galesburg office. The award is one of 37 issued during this grant cycle.

“We are so grateful for the generous support of the Galesburg Community Foundation,” said Rilla Adcock, Administrative Manager of our Peoria/Galesburg Office. “The Turnout Grant will have a direct impact on local families and will help us provide them with the support they need.”

“The Turnout connects generous community donors with local nonprofits providing valuable services across our service area,” said Tiffany Springer, Director of Grants & Programs of the Galesburg Community Foundation. “The ultimate goal of The Turnout is to empower our local nonprofits to tell their stories of impact and ask specifically for what they need to make their important work happen.”

The Turnout Grant Cycle combines dollars from generous community donors who hold charitable funds at the Community Foundation along with dollars from the Community Foundation’s Impact Fund to fully fund nonprofit proposals providing services that better our region.
