PSLS Awarded $1 Million State Grant from IEJF to Fight Eviction

With funding from the IL Department of Human Services, the IL Equal Justice Foundation recently awarded $1 million to Prairie State Legal Services, which is part of more than $3 million in FY 23 grants to other nonprofit organizations providing legal information, representation and mediation services to Illinois residents facing eviction. These services will be offered through Eviction Help Illinois, a statewide legal aid network people can access by phone, text or virtual assistant.
