Meet Our Team: Olivia Riley, Community Advocate

November 8, 2021

Olivia Riley is elated to be serving her hometown of Peoria as a community advocate for Prairie State Legal Services Justice, Equity, and Opportunity (JEO)/Restore, Reinvest, and Renew (R3) program. Born and raised in Peoria, this critical role in our program is near and dear to her heart. Olivia is a team player and a people-oriented person who is ready to begin partnering with Peoria residents to make Prairie State Legal Services more accessible.

We are thrilled to have Olivia and can’t wait to see all that she’ll accomplish.

Prairie State’s JEO/R3 program is a Community Lawyering Initiative that combines the knowledge and skills of community advocates and attorneys to help solve community identified legal issues, in historically marginalized communities, in a way that empowers local leaders and groups to move towards lasting change and racial equity. We work closely with community-based organizations, churches, and groups to provide not only legal assistance and education, but provide the skills and knowledge to support lasting change. The Justice, Equity, and Opportunity Program is funded in part from the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority under the Illinois Restore, Reinvest, Renew Program.
