LSC Refresher Course: Mandatory Training Information

As we prepare for the upcoming LSC Quality Visit, we are excited to announce the launch of our LSC Refresher Course through Google Classroom! This training is mandatory for all staff and must be completed by November 30. This course is a good opportunity to refresh your day-to-day LSC knowledge and ensure you feel fully prepared to handle any questions LSC may ask you.

Course Overview: You can join the classroom by clicking this link. The course is divided into five sections:

  1. Introduction to LSC (10 mins)

  2. Required Activities (30 mins)

  3. Prohibited Activities (9 mins)

  4. Case Acceptance (24 mins)

  5. Other Common LSC Rules (13 mins)

Time Commitment: The course should take around 90 minutes to complete, and you can go at your own pace. If you're already familiar with LSC rules, you may breeze through it in one sitting. If you're newer to LSC, we suggest spreading the training over several days to absorb the material better. To make it even quicker, we recommend completing the quiz questions as you go.

Optional Office Hours: We’re offering two optional office hours to address any questions you may have after completing the training. You can submit questions in two ways: the last question on the quiz provides space for questions or via email addressed to training@pslegal.org. If there are enough questions, we’ll compile and distribute an FAQ document after the sessions.
