Bar Association Memberships and ISBA Membership

May 29, 2024

As a benefit to our attorneys, PSLS pays for two bar association memberships each year. Many of you are members of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), but not all of our attorneys are. As the July 1 membership date approaches for the ISBA, we will be coordinating PSLS' payment to the ISBA for renewals and new memberships.

If you would like to renew your ISBA membership, please follow these steps:
1. Go to the ISBA website - www.isba.org
2. Follow the login instructions, click on the "Welcome Back, (your name)" dropdown menu and select Account
3. The Accounts page will have a band at the top that identifies "Total Dues Balance" with a link to "View Dues Invoice."
4. Click on "View Dues Invoice" and print a copy of your invoice.
5. Give the printed invoice page to your Office Manager.

If you are not yet an ISBA member and would like to join, go to the ISBA website, select the "Join Now" Tab, follow the prompt for the Attorneys, and select "Download a printable membership form" which you will complete and give to your Office Manager.

Office Managers: please collect these invoices/forms for your office and email them together in one email to accountspayable@pslegal.org by June 6. Please note that the invoice includes optional payments to support the ISBA political action committee and the ISBA Foundation - PSLS does not pay those amounts with the membership; if an attorney desires to support such causes, a separate donation by the attorney can be made by the attorney directly to the ISBA once the PSLS membership/renewal is processed.

If you have any questions, please email accountspayable@pslegal.org. Invoices for payment for other bar association memberships may also be sent to accountspayable@pslegal.org along with a completed DR-1 check request.
