A Safe Home for Blake

Meet Blake, a man in his 20s who lives with his girlfriend. Blake is battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. He recently grew concerned about the safety of his apartment because of flooding issues. Blake’s doctor suggested that his unit be inspected for mold so it does not interfere with his cancer treatment. When Blake told his landland that his doctor wanted his unit inspected for mold, his landlord responded with an eviction notice.

That’s when Blake turned to PSLS for help. PSLS advocated for Blake in court, successfully getting the eviction case dismissed and sealed. Today, Blake lives in a safer home without an eviction on his record!
