1.0 hr of CLE available. This program will focus on how lawyers can protect their clients who are survivors of violence and harassment. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the various legal remedies available to clients, including orders of protection, civil no-contact orders, and criminal remedies. Through this program, attendees will learn how to assess a survivor’s needs, evaluate the most appropriate legal options, and navigate the complexities involved in seeking justice and safety for clients. By the end of the session, participants will have a better understanding of how to guide clients in making informed decisions about their legal protection.
