This month's training will be an overview of federal and state cash, food, and medical benefits available to people 50 years and older, and how to access those programs. The programs we will discuss include: Social Security Retirement, Social Security Survivors, AABD Cash, Medicare, and Medicare Savings Programs. Participants will develop the ability to (1) determine whether they or their clients are receiving all the benefits they might qualify for, (2) apply for programs they're not receiving, and (3) know when and where to reach out for help.
