Regional Billboard Campaign Seeks to Help Older Adults

PSLS and AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois, a non-profit organization that works to address both the immediate and long-range needs of older adults, have partnered to launch an older adult public awareness campaign. The billboards, which promote PSLS’ Older Adults Legal Assistance Helpline, will alert older adults on how to get legal help with Medicaid, Social Security, or SNAP, and will run over the next couple of months in DuPage, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will Counties. In addition to billboards, digital placements will appear on Facebook, Google, and YouTube, and target residents living in Grundy and Kankakee Counties. More than 700,000 older adults live in AgeGuide’s eight-county service area
