PSLS Tax Clinic Reopens

Eligible, low-income taxpayers in Central and Northern Illinois can receive free assistance with tax disputes and tax education through PSLS’ Tax Clinic. The low-income taxpayer clinic (LITC) helps clients resolve tax disputes including audits, tax debts/collections, tax court litigation, innocent spouse relief, identity theft, and missing refunds and EIPS (Economic Impact Payments). The tax clinic services are accessible to taxpayers with limited English proficiency.

The tax clinic does not help file or amend tax returns, unless PSLS determines it is needed to resolve a tax dispute.
