2/3/2016 Bloomington Office Selected to Host 2016 Rural Summer Legal Corps Intern

Prairie State is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of 31 organizations in the country to participate in the 2016 Rural Summer Legal Corps program.  In summer 2016, Prairie State’s Bloomington office will host a law student intern who will focus on improving and coordinating services to survivors of domestic violence in rural Livingston County.  The intern will receive a $4,000 stipend and will be eligible for a $1,200 education award.  More information about the position is available here

Applications are accepted through February 29, 2016.

The Rural Summer Legal Corps is a partnership between the Legal Services Corporation and Equal Justice Works.  More information about the Rural Summer Legal Corps program is available at http://rurallegalcorps.org/.
